Mölkky!

This weekend I had a great opportunity to try the fun Finnish game, Mölkky, courtesy of Tryazon and Tactic Games USA.  I've played Mölkky before, last Summer when I was in Finland and really had fun, I regretted not buying a set to bring home with me, but those wooden pegs can be heavy!  

When I saw Mölkky being offered on Tryazon, I was really excited and hoped I'd finally get a shot at one of their campaigns.  I explained how much I already enjoyed the game and how fantastic it would be to show my friends and family this delightful, portable, anybody-can-play game.  I was so pleased to learn that I was chosen!

This Memorial Day weekend, I spent Sunday with my family and friends at a pool club my sister belongs to.  I had mentioned bringing Mölkky with me and quite a few people were curious to test it out.  After a quick setup and explanation of the rules, and plenty of laughter, we got started.

My whole family and our friends had a really good time with this one, I'm really glad I had the opportunity to get a Mölkky set of my own, after not bringing one home from Finland. I think this is going to get a ton of use over the next few years.  Check it out for yourself, over at Amazon, I think your family will love it, too.
